A cute little background story...
We had only been living together for a few weeks when I came home to him in the kitchen, watching his iPad and hitting chicken on the counter with a hammer. Yes, a hammer. I quickly figured out he had turned to a YouTube video to help him make me dinner and that he didn't have the proper chicken pounding tool so resorted to using a hammer (pretty creative if you ask me!). What a guy! He poured me a glass of wine, pushed play on the iPad and finished cooking me one of the best dinners I had ever had.
Whenever he makes this recipe, he still uses that hammer to this day. haha. It's just part of the perfection now!
In honor of this special occasion, I wanted to share my absolute favorite dish that my husband makes for me - Chicken Marsala. It's seriously DELICIOUS! And maybe if I'm lucky we will be celebrating this National day with some of his chicken marsala tonight ;) *hint*hint* I'm a pretty lucky girl though, he doesn't need 1 day to remind him to make dinner. We both enjoy cooking and take turns throughout the week.
